The Filipino people remain incredibly open and responsive to the message of the Gospel. In just the past two months crusades were held in five different Barangays, with hundreds responding for salvation. We’ve also received numerous reports of healings after prayer.
Our tent outreaches usually run about a week, and are exciting events for the local residents... usually the coolest thing happening in the area. The “open air meetings” we conduct (usually on basketball courts) are easily accessible for anyone to come in or stand around the sides. Some listen to the loud speaker system from afar and come closer each night until they are comfortably sitting at the meeting itself, where they hear and respond to God’s Word. The Lord does wonderful things through ordinary people (our team) as we continue to step out to obey His will to reach those in need of Christ. |
