 I came to know the Lord at the age of 16, in January of 1999, during the time that the Philippine Frontline Ministries was conducting an evangelistic crusade outreach in my hometown. I attended the meeting and responded to the altar call. I accepted the Lord and gave my life to Jesus Christ. That night I felt that the Lord was calling me to serve Him. In 2000, after I had finished my schooling, I committed my life to serve God full time with the Philippine Frontline Ministries. I gave up my family, friends and ambition so that I could serve Him. He really touched my heart and changed me into a person with a passion to share His love, His word and my personal encounter with Him.
At the age of 23, I started praying for a woman to love and to spend the rest of my life with. I asked God for someone with the same vision and passion to live for Jesus. It was amazing how God responded to my prayers. I met Hanna (from Cavite) during our citywide outreach in Bicol (Southern Philippines.) She came to visit the ministry and worked with us during that outreach. After the event, God put a desire in her heart to join the PFM and to respond to His calling on her life in the area of evangelism. She joined PFM in May of 2005 and we immediately became good friends and started to have mutual feelings for each other. After three years of praying and seeking God’s will for our lives, we were united in marriage on May 10, 2008. We are so blessed to be able to serve the Lord with PFM and work together with the same vision; “TO TAKE THE NATION FOR JESUS.”
Hanna and I are now leading the Outreach Evangelism Team. I have now been in the ministry for almost nine years and Hanna, for three years. She also leads the drama ministry. God has truly been faithful, and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
