Frontline Training Program (FTP) has been a dream in the making for a few years now. Initially FTP was launched as a 3 month training/teaching program that would equip students with the essentials for evangelism. Most of the applicants were actively involved in outreach teams and the sessions developed their skills in Bible knowledge, sensitivity to the Spirit of God, character development and gifting.
In May 2011 we launched the vision into the Frontline Worship Center sites. On weekly basis, for four months, training was brought to the local sites. It served a two fold purpose within frontline. Discipling believers....looking for leaders. Week by weekover 150 students engaged in the training. As the training time ended it became clear that this was a dynamic method of impacting our church sites.

In 2012 we will see the launch of training that will be ongoing throughout the year in our sites. Modules will be presented in 6-8 week segments. Each site will host 4 modules per year. In cooperation with the site pastors and their leadership teams there is ongoing recognition of the calling and placing of God in the lives of believers.
Jesus told us that there wasn’t a problem with the harvest; the fields "are white unto harvest," He said. The issue is that there is a shortage of workers to handle the harvest. We believe the Frontline Training Program is part of our response to the prayer of Jesus… “that the Lord of the harvest would send out workers into the harvest field.” This is an exciting and important project here at Frontline. |
