Frontline Worship Center Goes to Atisan!
“I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of the Lord!” (Ps 122:1)
Here at Frontline, we are well aware that the church is not a building. Throughout all the years we’ve ministered in this nation we have consistently upheld this truth in the church groups we work with. And now, as a church planting ministry, we continue to emphasize and prioritize the human element of the church over the building and its other assets. From a purely biblical perspective one could say the church has no real assets besides people.
We recently had the pleasure of “officially” opening our next FWC Church Site. In fact, the church in any location begins when an apostle shows up, and one person comes to Christ; and it’s all outward from there!
Atisan is a far flung area in a high place overlooking the city of San Pablo. It’s a small area, but is home to a couple thousand people that Christ loves and died for. The church hall put up there is literally on the side of a hill, and is small, seating only about 70 people. We’re sure they will go to multiple services soon! It’s all good, because we know the eternal impact of the church in a community has nothing to do with the size or grandeur of a facility; and everything to do with the Spirit of God showing up in the gatherings and the relationships of His people. We also know great movements can begin in obscure and simple places… like in small stables, in small towns like Bethlehem!
I’ve had the privilege of having Rolly DelMonte work for me personally. He’s got an energy of life, joy, excitement and humor that is as powerful as it is admirable. Around Frontline, we could not be more happy than to see him recently married and also becoming an official Campus Pastor at Frontline Worship Center.
Thanks for your prayer support and financial partnership with Frontline. It continues impacting lives for Christ more and more each day.
